Panel 1 — Leisure, distributed
During a quiet break in the Relay Roof workshop, Bronx and Tamsin look at a copied leisure-club handbill. It advertises unplugged activity and a weekly broadcast. Neither joins. Only cropped hands, sleeves and laps appear throughout; public service equipment remains untouched.
BRONX: An unplugged leisure club.
TAMSIN: Why does it need a weekly broadcast?
Panel 2 — The request
Tamsin reaches for Bronx's worn guitar. She means the new chord she liked during their private June 24 song, not a request to rewrite the old song or book a performance.
TAMSIN: Show me that chord I liked.
BRONX: For the program?
Panel 3 — Her turn
Bronx hands over the guitar and points toward a fret without moving her fingers. Tamsin holds the instrument in her own lap. The recording feed remains closed; no public equipment is disconnected.
TAMSIN: For me.
BRONX: Here. Your turn.
Panel 4 — An imperfect beginning
Tamsin tries the chord. One string buzzes. Bronx offers to take over but leaves the instrument in her hands. This is an attempt at this chord, not a claim that she has never played before.
TAMSIN: It buzzes.
BRONX: I could play it for you.
Panel 5 — The useful refusal
Tamsin keeps the guitar. Bronx withdraws his offering hand and picks up his tea instead.
TAMSIN: Then you'd get the hobby.
BRONX: Fair.
Panel 6 — Again
Tamsin tries again while Bronx sits with his mug and listens. No completed song, mastered chord, recording or future lesson is promised. The folded leaflet stays on the table.
BRONX: Again?
TAMSIN: Yes. Don't book me.
